Walking into Flip Out’s huge warehouse with its wall-to-wall trampolines and state-of-the-art equipment certainly has the wow factor and is one of those rare places you can take toddlers, kids and teens for every-age fun.
Adults can join in too, on the main floor and in a dedicated adult zone (where there is no risk of taking out a toddler!) Those spectating (no charge) can do so from a seating area next to the café or on a mezzanine platform with good views over the arena, ideal for watching your kids go head-to-head on the battle beams or flip into the foam pit!
Great for a rainy day, Flip Out feels very new and modern with a sea of trampolines, foam pits, battle beams, stunt zone, ninja obstacle zone, soft play (for age 7 & under), dedicated under-6 zone, interactive football, and basketball lanes. It welcomes all ages and abilities although some areas do have a height or age limit. Rules and limits are explained clearly in the briefing video which must be watched prior to your visit by all bouncers.
Children aged 5 years and over can bounce unattended (a supervising adult must remain on-site in the viewing area for children aged 5-11). Under 5's need to have an adult bouncing with them. The floor is supervised by staff who ensure bouncers are safely enjoying their session.
Open 7 days a week from 10am, you can opt for an hour’s session at a flat price of £12.95, or two hours for £18.95. You can choose the ‘eat, drink, bounce’ option for an additional £3, to include a pint of squash (they’ll certainly need it..!) and a hot dog.
Toddlers can enjoy their own designated sessions as follows:
Monday & Friday: 11am to 3pm
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday: 10am to 3pm
Each bouncer must wear a pair of re-usable Flip Out trampoline socks which can be bought at reception for £1.50-£2.50 a pair.
On site facilities include lockers, toilets, free parking, and a café serving basic snacks and drinks. All food consumed on site must be purchased on-site but bringing gallons of water is a must!
Flip Out comes highly recommended as a high-adrenaline family activity for all ages and all weathers. It’s just off the M5, 1 mile from Junction 26 on the outskirts of Wellington, Somerset. This is very much a hot and sweaty activity, so come dressed for exercise!
